The problem
The Positivo Casa Inteligente app may not detect the camera during setup, even on a 2.4GHz network and following the official steps.
Common symptoms
- App can’t find the camera
- Camera keeps blinking and never connects

Definitive fix (step by step)
- Use two phones: one to configure, another as hotspot.
- Enable hotspot on the second phone (with mobile data).
- Connect the main phone to the hotspot and set up the camera.
- Update firmware when prompted (mandatory).
- Reset the camera (press button for 5s until beep).
- Disable hotspot.
- Connect to your 2.4GHz Wi‑Fi and set up again.
Why it works
The hotspot provides a clean environment to update firmware. After reset, the camera is updated and gets detected on your main network.
Important tip
Make sure your network is truly 2.4GHz. Dual-band routers with the same SSID can confuse the camera.
